RETREAT BOOKINGS 

The following terms and conditions may be updated after the time of booking. In  this case, the updates will apply to all bookings. 

A non-refundable deposit of £500 is required to secure your space. The remaining  balance is to be paid eight weeks before the start of the retreat. If booking within  eight weeks of the start date, the full payment will be required.  

If there is a different payment plan that would work better for you, please let us  know and we will see what we can make work.  

CANCELLATION POLICY 

We are unable to offer any discounts on early departures, flight cancellations, illness  or travel delays. If you need to cancel your place on the retreat, please let us know 

in writing via email to birdieyoga@gmail.com as soon as possible. We always  endeavour to treat cancellations sympathetically, but as spaces are limited and we  have costs already incurred when reserving retreat venues, the following applies: 

• For cancellations made more than 90 days before the start of the retreat, we will  refund you the full amount, minus the deposit.  

• For cancellations made 90-30 days prior to the start of the retreat, provided your  place is filled by another person, you may transfer the full credit (excluding  deposit) to a future event within 12 months from the cancellation. Otherwise you  receive no refunds or credits.  

• For cancellations fewer than 30 days prior to the start of the retreat, you receive  no refunds or credits.  

If we cancel the retreat: 

In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled due to family problems/ health or  too few participants, we will refund to you all deposits and payments. We cannot  compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. To cover these risks, we highly  recommend you purchase travel insurance.  

LIABILITY 

We do not accept any liability for: 

• Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or  threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action and strikes, natural  disaster, epidemics, pandemics, technical problems to transport, staff  cancellations, weather or any other events beyond our control.  

• Participants’ medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop prior, during or  subsequent to the retreat.  

• Loss of, or damage to the personal property of participants.  

• If you have had any physical or emotion illness within the past 5 years, or are  under medical or psychiatric supervision, you must notify us of the details at the  time of booking, and where appropriate, enclose a doctor’s certificate of fitness to  travel.  

• Non-disclosure or relevant information can invalidate your insurance and cancel  our contractual obligation to you.  

TRAVEL INSURANCE

In order to participate, guests must have travel insurance. Your insurance should cover  the activity of this retreat as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, injury, losses,  change of circumstances etc
